It's June, halfway through 2010, how did that happen?

Didn't we just celebrate New Year's? Seriously, Lily is going to be a year old in less than 2 months!?! Why is that time ticks faster as you get older? Is it because you are busier or have more responsibility than you did when you are young? Is it because you have less time left to you in the grand scheme of things? I don't know but it certainly is true.
2010 is turning out to be a great year so far, we're settling into our country life, Lily is flourishing, and we enjoy new adventures, pretty much every day!
Lily knows her name, understands the word "no" even if she doesn't always obey it, can cough, growl, clap and sing on demand, plus "So Big" and "High Five". She will try walking with anything on wheels from her baby walker to her great-grandfather's walker, to a wheeled grocery cart.
She is a great eater and will try just about anything. Her upper front teeth are coming in and causing her trouble but she is getting used to it and still sleeping through the night more frequently. She has established her own little baby routine, and woe to the person that upsets it! When she is tired or hungry, you had better take care of that issue right away!
She is also totally fearless (understandable because baby's aren't born with fear), but she loved the pool, doesn't mind heights and isn't usually upset by loud noises like vacuums or cars!
Now we are thinking about what travel adventures to try with her next? Wedding in France, Midwestern travels, Summer in Utah, etc., she'll be a globetrotter no matter what we do!
you know I am voting for France of course!! :)
